Why I help people speak for their work
I'm Leslie Fiorenzo, the founder of Business Speaking Solutions and a Speak for Impact Strategist. I established this practice in 2023 to help capable professionals and leadership teams communicate their expertise clearly and confidently.
Early in my career, I entered a speaking contest and didn't place in the top five. The feedback on my delivery was honest, and it pointed me somewhere useful. I committed to developing my speaking and storytelling skills, and I've been working on them ever since.
Across more than 30 years in corporate settings, human resources, and professional development, I learned how to make communication useful in real business situations. Not speeches for a stage, but the meetings, recommendations, and client conversations where the work actually gets explained.
Today I help others develop clarity and confidence through practice and specific feedback. I'm based in Grand Rapids, Michigan, and I work with professionals and teams nationwide.
